Toucan Space is the first company that allows you to send objects of your choice to space. More than being just gifts, we believe that personalized space-flown objects are sources of inspiration. Especially for younger generations. That’s why we need you to be part of our missions!

About Space Missions

What are the objects I can send?

A POSTCARD: you’ll have to choose between a selection of postcards and personalize the one chosen.

A PHOTO: you’ll have to upload your photo and personalize it.

A PERSONAL OBJECT: you’ll have to upload a photo of your personal object and make sure it fits our specifications (size, mass, value…). You’ll then have to send your personal object at the company’s address.

Where can I send the objects?

TO SPACE: your object will be launched from planet Earth, travel through space (at an average altitude of 160 kilometers and a speed of roughly 4.000 kilometers per hour) for a few minutes before landing back on Earth.

TO THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION (ISS): your object will be launched from Cape Canaveral (Florida, USA) with SpaceX’s Falcon 9, travel through space inside the Dragon spacecraft (at an average altitude of 400 kilometers and a speed of roughly 28.000 kilometers per hour), dock with the ISS for a few weeks before landing back on Earth.

When will I receive my space-flown object?

A FEW DAYS AFTER LAUNCH: if you choose to send an object to space.

A FEW WEEKS AFTER LAUNCH: if you choose to send an object to the International Space Station (ISS).

What will I receive with my space-flown object?

1 MISSION CERTIFICATE: specifying launch success and mission details (name, date, destination…).

2 MISSION PATCHES: specifying some mission details (number of the mission, name of the mission and destination).

3 MISSION STICKERS specifying some mission details (number of the mission, name of the mission and destination).

I have no time to wait for the next launch: is there any solution?

What is the difference between Toucan Space and high-altitude balloons?

Unlike high-altitude balloons, Toucan Space will send your stuff to outer space, above the Kármán line. Whereas high-altitude balloons reach an altitude of roughly 30 kilometers, we send your stuff well above 100 kilometers.

Shopping FAQ

Do you ship worldwide?

YES, we ship worldwide (except to Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria). Please make sure your country will allow the product that you have ordered through customs. We are also not responsible for any tax or extra charges that your country may charge for importing an item.

I didn’t receive an order confirmation, what do I do?

You should have received an email, with your order confirmation. If you have just placed an order and not received your order confirmation, please contact us ASAP and we will assist you.

When can I expect my delivery?

We ship the ordered items as soon as the mission is over. Delivery takes between 4 and 15 days depending on the destination.

Can I track my order?

When your package has shipped, you will receive a confirmation via email containing tracking information from the appropriate carrier.

Payment FAQ

What payment methods do you accept?

We offer credit card payment through our payment provider Stripe. Stripe is a leading online payment processing firm.

In any case, no credit card or payment details will be taken or held by Toucan Space. The data is only stored and processed at the payment processing firm (Stripe).
